Come along and enjoy a day of fun to help celebrate Fionn’s milestone birthday.Inspired by Catherine de Medici’s Court entertainments, we will enjoy a day of games, pageantry, rapier and heavy combat. Bring your outdoor games, banners and pennons , and in true 16th Century style feel free to wear garb inspired by romantic, allegorical, mythological or astrological themes. There will be an opportunity to display bardic talents and compete in A&S competitions.

A&S Competitions:
– An embroidered item made during the last 2 years
– An appetising non-alcoholic drink
– Best bardic performance (*bell only – no  points towards the A&S Championship)
– Best heraldic display by individual or group (*bell only – no  points towards the A&S Championship)
– Best riddle as voted by the populace (*bell only – no  points towards the A&S Championship)

Other Details
This is a garbed event. If you need to borrow garb, please contact the Hospitaller no later than two weeks before the event.
This event is not catered. Please bring your lunch and drinks.
Pegs and stakes are allowed at the site but we must avoid the irrigation lines. Guidelines will be marked by the Council – please be careful where you put your stakes.
The nearest bus stop is stop 18 Montacute Rd – North side.
