Changes to regular schedule for April and May 2025
We will be having the usual training on Sunday April 6 (remember daylight saving begins- turn clocks back one hour)
There will be NO TRAINING April 13
There will be NO TRAINING April 20
There will be regular training April 27
Baronial Zoom Meeting will be April 28 at 7pm
Monday April 7 will be A&S but we are cancelling April 21
May 3 and 4 are the Paracomb Medieval Fair There will be NO TRAINING on May 4th
Remember to arrange voting as elections are called for May 3rd
Monday May 5 will be A&S and I will be conducting a hands on class on cleaning and servicing your sewing machine (more information after Festival).
Archery practice is on next Saturday (5th April). There will be no practice on the Easter Weekend. We will be taking a poll on the Innilgard Archers page to determine when we will hold archery practice in May, given the Med Fair and Coronation.

End of Year BBQ and Training Cancelled
We are canceling training and the BBQ that were planned for tomorrow the 15th of December, due to the predicted heat continuing to climb.
Have a fantastic and safe Holiday, and we will see you at a new training venue in the new year.
Special Meeting November 4th – No training Nov 3 or Nov 10
Greetings unto the Barony and Colleges of Innilgard,
It has come to pass that the Council of Burnside where Mellor Reserve is located has determined that we must pay for the time we use their lawns.
We are faced with multiple choices. We can pay the extra fee in addition to what we pay for the girl guide hall which means an increase of our weekly training cost per person (probably to $5 each for members if we maintain our current training numbers). We could give up the hall and the fee incurred and just pay for the lawn. We could move to a different venue. We are researching multiple site but are happy to entertain other options if you have viable suggestions.
To this end we will be meeting at the A/S venue on Monday November 4th classes start at 6, our meeting will start at 7 pm we will also have a ZOOM channel open for those who wish to attend on line. Please check the mailing list for the Zoom details.
There will be no training on Nov 3rd or Nov 10th at the training ground.

Heavy Championship Sun 1st Sept cancelled
Good Populace,
As backup-steward for the Baronial Heavy Championship, I must sadly announce that this event shall be postponed. After a deal of forecast-watching and discussion, with the weather over the weekend looking so miserable I feel it would be unjust to drag good folk out into such weather, and worse to ask of them to do combat in such. I’ll be looking to find a better date in our already busy calendar and hoping for some better weather, so keep your eyes peeled for a new date for this event.

To the noble Lady Aeschine, the gallant Lord Godfrey, and the gracious Lady Alina—know that your valiant efforts have not gone unnoticed. The outpouring of support from the populace for all candidates is a testament to the high regard in which each of you is held. It is indeed a mark of great courage and noble spirit to present oneself for consideration for a Landed Baronial position. Your bravery is to be lauded, and your dedication to this Barony is deeply appreciated. Huzzah for your valour, and huzzah for your tireless endeavours. We eagerly anticipate the remarkable contributions that each of you will undoubtedly continue to make to the flourishing of Innilgard.
