General Information
Unless stated otherwise, events are a chance for us to dress up and make our best attempt at recreating the middle ages as they should have been. All attendees are expected to wear at least an attempt at pre-17th century garb. If you need to borrow some clothes for the event, please contact the Hospitaller at least a week before the event to arrange to borrow something appropriate.
Minors are welcome to attend SCA events and training, but they must have a parent/guardian present. A parent/guardian can also nominate another adult each event or training session as a caregiver to serve this purpose, please ask the Constable for a form, or print one yourself (available here).

Rowany Festival
14th – 23rd April
Hark to those who travel from afar / To the lands on which we gather
To laugh and feast, to fight, art, and dream / And join together upon Rowany’s fields.
Come join in the adventure that is Rowany Festival where we gather to fight, cheer, art, science, create, wait, run, hit, chat and enjoy our community.
Autumn Coronation

Barony of Southron Gaard
The Barony of Southron Gaard will be hosting May Coronation 2024.

Fretted Frenzy II – A May Gathering
Saturday 11th May
A Relaxed Picnic amongst the trees. Two Arts and Sciences Competitions will be run with the themes of Picnic and A Baked Good.

Jägerfest – The Archery Hunt
Saturday 25th May
Autumn, the season for hunting and the season for harvest. Well, in Medieval Europe, anyway – and so the archers of Innilgard will hunt for Bear, Boar, Deer, Ducks, Goats, Plants, Fruits and all manner of Monsters, Strange Creatures and Edibles which may be found in the Hills and Woods!
Fretted Frenzy I – Swords and Shields Upon the Flower Fields
Sunday 2nd June
The Crash of Sword and Shield will permeate the field at this Heavy Fighting Tournament.

Bal d’Argent
Saturday 13th July
Come to Bal d’Argent, the premier dance event of Lochac! In the depths of Winter, don your finest garb in White, Red or Blue, and dance the evening away in the most beautiful Barony of Innilgard. Musicians and Performers join the Dancers in creating a night to Remember!
